01
The fundraiser reality
A benefit lives and dies on its numbers. The venue needs a count, the caterer needs plate choices, the board needs a projection. Chasing it across spreadsheets, paper reply cards, and a half-dozen volunteers is how tables sit empty.
02
One link, no guest accounts
Doors gives the event one short URL (doors.events/e/spring-gala) for the invitation, the email blast, and the social post. Donors tap, enter a name and an email, pick a meal. No sign-up, no password, no friction between them and a yes. The page they land on is themed for a fundraiser, a photographed header picked from your event type, or your own photo if you have one you would rather use. Not a blank form.
03
Ask what the night needs
Collect everything the caterer and the committee need up front, then export it clean when it's time to set the tables.
meal choice
table / seating
dietary needs
+1 names
sponsor level
donation add-on

Reminders so the headcount is real
Doors sends automatic reminders as the event approaches (about three days before, and again shortly before it starts) to everyone who said yes. A guest who is reminded twice either turns up or tells you they cannot, which is what makes the number worth planning around. For the mechanics, see our guide on how to track RSVPs online.
